China-Russia "Maritime Joint-2026" Joint Exercise Concludes Today
The China-Russia "Maritime Joint-2026" joint exercise will conclude today. This exercise focuses on "joint responses to maritime security threats," with the Russian participating forces consisting of the missile cruiser "Varyag," the frigate "Gremyashchy," the submarine "Ufa," and the rescue ship "Igor Belousov." The Chinese participating forces include the missile destroyers Kaifeng and Anshan, the missile frigate Wuhu, a comprehensive supply ship, the lake ship Kekexili, the submarine rescue ship Yangcheng Lake, and one submarine.
In addition, both China and Russia also dispatched shipborne helicopters and marines to participate.
