Chinese Navy Hospital Ship "Peace Ark" Arrives in Guinea

On the morning of October 3 local time, the Chinese Navy hospital ship "Peace Ark," executing the "Harmonious Mission-2026," arrived at Conakry, the capital of Guinea, to begin a 7-day friendly visit and provide medical services. This is the first visit of a Chinese Navy hospital ship to Guinea.

At around 10 a.m., the Navy hospital ship "Peace Ark" slowly entered Conakry Port in the rain. The flags of China and Guinea flew proudly from the ship's mast; the Guinean military band played live music on the dock; the welcoming crowd waved the flags of both countries and unfurled a banner reading "Warm welcome to the Chinese Navy hospital ship 'Peace Ark' visiting Guinea," giving a warm welcome to the arrival of the "Peace Ark."

After the hospital ship docked, the military band played welcome songs, and local people performed a lion dance rich in Chinese characteristics, making the welcoming ceremony grand and warm. After the ceremony, military and political officials from both sides, along with the Chinese ambassador to Guinea, boarded the hospital ship for a visit and held discussions with representatives of the mission personnel.

During the visit, the commander of the task force will hold discussions with the Guinean military leaders. The hospital ship will provide medical services using its main platform and will send out medical training teams and consultation teams to conduct academic exchanges and provide medical services at friendly hospitals and a certain camp in Guinea. In addition, our task force will organize a deck reception, and representatives of the personnel will go to the Confucius Institute at Conakry University for cultural exchanges.
