With an over 40% increase in exhibitors, up to 1,400, and a 42% increase in visitors, up to 26,500, Enforce Tac 2026, the security and defence exhibition that took place at the Nürnberg Exhibition Centre 23 to 25 February confirmed its growth as well as the widening scope, moving from what originally mostly a security and law enforcement event into a wider defence and homeland security exhibition. Twenty-four delegations from 16 different countries visited the exhibition, underlining the event growing importance in the European scenario.
For the first time Enforce Tac was held under the patronage of Germany’s Federal Chancellor, another first being the Enforce Tac Conference. On the military side counter-UAS was one of the main topics, together with air defence, while of course small arms and personal equipment were as usual the core of the exhibition. An Armoured Forces Area was added, organisers already aiming at further developing it in next year edition. Networking is nowadays a major issue, both on the battlefield as well as in security matters, and it was therefore another major topic at the show.
German companies represented the majority, however numerous companies from 44 other countries were present at NürnbergMesse. According to organisers, the space for the 2027 edition are almost completely booked.
