In early summer, the smoke of gunfire suddenly rises

The sound of cannons reverberates through the valley

Recently, a firepower detachment of the 71st Group Army

launched a multi-type

full-element, high-intensity live-fire shooting exercise

The entire exercise closely followed real combat scenarios

with on-the-spot adjustments for various special situations

and innovatively employed multiple tactics

to comprehensively test the combat effectiveness of the fire support system

As soon as the combat order was given

the armored vehicles swiftly

moved to the firing positions

and the soldiers quickly completed the construction of positions

and ammunition loading

Meanwhile

the unmanned reconnaissance team stealthily advanced

as drones took to the sky

conducting three-dimensional reconnaissance on deep targets

with target coordinates and troop deployments

being relayed in real-time to the command vehicle

Relying on an integrated command platform

the commander fused multi-source intelligence

to accurately allocate strike tasks

and quickly established

a closed-loop combat chain of

“unmanned reconnaissance, manned strikes, real-time assessment”

The first shell of the howitzer whistled out of the barrel

and accurately hit the target

As the first round of single cannon strikes ended

the control team immediately reported

“Enemy infantry and armored targets are gathering!”

With a command from the commander

dozens of artillery pieces roared simultaneously

and a dense rain of shells instantly covered the target area

destroying all group targets and fortified positions

After completing the shooting transfer

the special situation of “position exposed, immediate transfer”

followed closely

and the soldiers withdrew immediately

moving quickly to the reserve positions

Along the way, they dealt with

“road damage”

and “small enemy harassment” among other emergencies

Upon reaching the new position

each artillery team received target information

through the “firepower dispatch software”

and conducted supplementary strikes on remaining targets

truly achieving

“detect and destroy, strike and transfer”

This exercise

was conducted without a script or predetermined plans

with all targets designated on the spot

while collecting over 20 core data points

such as shooting accuracy and damage effects

to carry out a quantitative assessment of combat effectiveness

focusing on solving training challenges

like firepower coordination and rapid response under complex conditions

The soldiers of the battalion stated

that as inheritors of Wang Jie

the fighting spirit of “not afraid of hardship, not afraid of death”

has long been ingrained in their blood

As the smoke has not yet cleared

the soldiers have already begun to review the assessment report

identifying issues in each link

optimizing tactical processes

to explore new models for generating combat effectiveness

and gathering strength
