Snipers

and are the key force that determines the battlefield's direction,

deciding the outcome from thousands of miles away.

In critical moments, they precisely lock on

to defeat the enemy with a single shot.

This is a skill that every sniper must master.

Recently,

the 73rd Group Army's certain brigade

focused on real combat needs

and meticulously organized high-intensity continuous assessments for snipers.

The assessments closely followed battlefield scenarios

to hone their skills under extreme conditions.

With the assessment orders issued, the battle immediately commenced.

No buffer was set, and no breaks were allowed.

The entire process tested physical fitness, skills, and psychology

together.

From dawn to deep night,

the subjects shifted from basic to advanced,

with difficulty increasing step by step,

to temper the snipers' practical skills.

On the assessment field,

the snipers braved the scorching sun and faced challenges head-on,

using flanking maneuvers and armed assaults

to quickly reach various assessment target areas.

With determined steps,

they began this ultimate test.

During the assessment,

unexpected situations followed one after another.

Wind speed changed suddenly, targets moved, and environmental interference

fully tested the snipers' psychological quality and ability to respond.

Having just completed a long-distance run,

their heart rates soared and breathing quickened in front of the limit board,

yet they still firmly held the rifle,

flexibly adjusted their shooting angles,

and completed precise "kills."

In the restricted shooting area,

most of the target was obscured by cover,

the target was small and blurry.

The sniper had to aim at the target

through a narrow shooting hole above the cover from 10 meters away.

Going out of bounds would result in point deductions, and exceeding the time limit would be disqualified.

Facing dual harsh tests,

the snipers calmed their minds, focused, and proceeded steadily.

Their gaze was as sharp as that of a hawk,

eliminating all distractions

and concentrating all their attention

on that small target center.

At the moment the gun fired,

the recoil came surging in.

They tensed their shoulders and necks, standing tall,

with their arms completely still.

With their well-honed skills,

they quietly absorbed this strong impact

in their steady posture.

As the assessment concluded, the smoke gradually cleared.

Dirt covered the snipers' cheeks,

blurring their brows and eyes,

but could never obscure the determination and dedication in their eyes.

Through the tempering of practical assessments,

they lived up to the daily grind,

achieving high scores in multiple core subjects

and delivering an impressive performance with precision and resilience.

They also demonstrated through action

"Practice to the extreme in peacetime, so that one can win with a single blow in wartime."

This continuous assessment

is both a "touchstone" for testing professional quality

and practical skills,
