Recently, due to continuous heavy rainfall, Shimen County in Changde City experienced flood hazards in Suojie Township. The local militia assembled an emergency response team, bringing emergency supplies to the affected areas. They conducted household inspections and assisted residents in relocating their property and belongings; after the flood receded, they cleared silt and obstacles in inundated streets and heavily affected homes, and opened up main roads. In addition, they set up tents and beds at the resettlement sites to ensure the basic living needs of the people.
Majiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province
Since May 18, Majiang County in Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, has been hit by torrential rain, causing flooding in some villages. At around 5 a.m. on the 19th, the armed police from the Guizhou Provincial Corps dispatched soldiers, equipped with kayaks, life jackets, and lifebuoys, to urgently rush to the rescue front line, fully committed to safeguarding the lives and property of the people.

In the early morning of May 19, due to heavy rainfall, some towns and streets in Fuquan City, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, experienced localized flooding, water accumulation on roads, and inundated houses.
