[Global Network Quick News] According to the latest reports from AFP and other media, the Israel Defense Forces stated on the 9th that they killed four armed personnel who emerged from a tunnel to attack Israeli troops in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah.

The Israel Defense Forces posted on the social platform X, stating: "Four armed terrorists emerged from the tunnel and opened fire on the IDF forces operating in the Rafah area. There are no reports of injuries to IDF soldiers. After confirming their identities, the forces eliminated the terrorists."

The IDF stated that the attack on its troops violated the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and added that they would continue operations in the area to identify and eliminate armed personnel in the tunnels.

The Israel Times reported that dozens of armed personnel from the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) are believed to be trapped underground in the eastern Rafah area, on the side of the ceasefire line controlled by the IDF.
