Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, April 10 - According to a report from the Islamic Republic News Agency early on the 10th, Kamal Kharrazi, the chairman of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations and former foreign minister, passed away a few hours ago after being injured in airstrikes by the United States and Israel.

Iranian media reported that Kharrazi was seriously injured in the airstrikes launched by the U.S. and Israel on residential areas in Tehran on the night of the 1st of this month, and his wife was killed on the spot.
