Havelsan delivers critical AICCS capabilities to the Azerbaijani Air Force

Report Content

3 August 2026 – HAVELSAN has successfully delivered selected critical capabilities developed under its Air Force Information Command and Control System (AICCS) to the Azerbaijani Air Force. Developed to support the planning, execution, monitoring and assessment of air operations through an integrated digital environment, AICCS provides an advanced command and control infrastructure for managing air operations more effectively.

The delivered capabilities enable personnel at operational headquarters to operate through a common operational picture, manage mission and operational data in real time, centrally monitor mission-critical information, and accelerate decision-making processes. By integrating command and control functions within a single digital architecture, they significantly enhance the speed, accuracy and effectiveness of planning, coordination and operational execution.

Enhancing Operational Readiness

AICCS brings together the core functions of air operations management within a unified digital architecture. The system significantly reduces operational preparation time, enabling air forces to respond more rapidly while improving operational agility throughout mission planning and execution.

The delivered capabilities bring together key functions supporting air operations management within an integrated digital architecture. Thanks to its open and modular architecture, AICCS is designed to integrate with existing command and control infrastructures while offering the flexibility to expand in line with operational requirements.

Demonstrating Engineering Excellence in Command and Control

This delivery represents an important milestone in the defence industrial cooperation between Türkiye and Azerbaijan in the fields of defence software and command and control technologies. It also demonstrates HAVELSAN’s engineering expertise in developing mission critical operational management software through indigenous engineering expertise.

The delivery of these capabilities represents more than a software export. It demonstrates that HAVELSAN’s command and control systems, mission management software and defence informatics solutions are being adopted by international users, highlighting the engineering expertise Türkiye has developed in these strategic fields.
