High Energy Sword! This Time the Artillery Live Fire is "Worth Watching"
Early autumn
In a training ground in northern China
The sound of artillery roars, and dust flies
The 81st Group Army's certain brigade
is conducting a
live-fire artillery shooting exercise
The exercise closely follows real combat
with a full range of elements and processes
to comprehensively test the troops' capabilities in complex environments
including long-range mobility, quick strikes, and rapid withdrawals
and coordinated strikes.

Before the exercise began
this brigade carefully arranged the battlefield
setting up various obstacles
establishing command posts, fire points
bunker groups, and simulated artillery positions
to allow the officers and soldiers to undergo rigorous training
in a realistic battlefield environment.
“Occupy Launch Position No. 1!”
Upon receiving the order from higher command
the officers and soldiers sprang into action
quickly deploying all combat elements
to complete shooting preparations.

This exercise
relied on an integrated command information system
to break down data barriers
achieving battlefield situation sharing
and direct transmission of combat orders
extending the command chain to the end
and connecting every combat node.

“Enemy armored cluster detected at Hill No. 3!”
With the sudden emergence of enemy threats
the commander quickly made a decision to strike
the gunners swiftly locked onto the target
“Prepare—Fire!”
With a command
the shells whistled out, heading straight for the target
after the first round hit accurately
each gun quickly relocated
adjusting firing parameters
to launch multiple rounds of fire coverage on remaining targets.


During the exercise
the drones and artillery fire units
worked closely together
conducting real-time battlefield reconnaissance and surveillance
quickly capturing explosion points
effectively validating the efficiency and accuracy of the “reconnaissance-transmission-strike” chain.
At the same time
the flexible networking of various reconnaissance, intelligence, and command equipment
achieved efficient transmission of all types of information.
The officers and soldiers also combined the exercise
with testing and verification of a self-developed shooting assistance system
exploring methods and means to complete combat tasks
based on multi-mode command links in various real combat scenarios.

Through the exercise
the integration of “practicing command, practicing coordination
and practicing support” was achieved throughout the process
effectively honing the artillery unit's
ability to cooperate and coordinate
and further enhancing
comprehensive strike effectiveness.
