Houthi Leader Warns Turkey and Pakistan Not to Intervene in Conflict
Xinhua News Agency, Kuwait City, September 22 (Reporter Yin Zha) - Sana'a reports: Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Yemeni Houthi armed group, warned Turkey and Pakistan on the evening of the 21st not to intervene in the escalating conflict between the Houthi armed group and Saudi Arabia.
In a televised speech broadcast on the Houthi-controlled Masirah TV, Abdul-Malik stated that as the conflict with the Yemeni Houthi armed group escalates, Saudi Arabia is seeking military support from Turkey and Pakistan. He urged both countries not to "get involved" in this conflict for the sake of political or economic interests with Saudi Arabia.
When discussing the possibility of easing the situation, Abdul-Malik said that the Houthi armed group has not put forward "impossible conditions" and reiterated the demand for Saudi Arabia to stop military operations and the "blockade" against the organization.
In addition, he continued to mobilize his supporters in his speech, stating that in the context of the escalating conflict, the organization will continue to strengthen its military capabilities.
