In the early morning of August 21, Beijing time, various types of aircraft and participating personnel from the Chinese Air Force, taking part in the China-Egypt "Eagle of Civilization-2026" joint air training, were delivered intercontinentally to a certain base of the Egyptian Air Force.

The China-Egypt "Eagle of Civilization-2026" joint air training is the second joint training conducted by the air forces of the two countries, with the Chinese Air Force dispatching a system of various aircraft including fighter jets, refueling aircraft, special mission aircraft, and helicopters.

It was reported that during the transit, the refueling aircraft not only undertook air refueling tasks but also served as an airborne command node. En route to Egypt, the Chinese Air Force Y-20A tanker aircraft provided air refueling for the J-16 fighter jets.

The flight formation overcame challenges such as long flight times and complex weather conditions, covering over 6,000 kilometers, passing through four countries across two continents, and flying for nearly 9 hours. By organizing cross-border system delivery and rapid loading and unloading, they tested capabilities in long-range delivery, agile deployment, and system operations.

Upon arrival in Egypt, the air force personnel quickly organized the unloading of supplies, equipment arrangement, and collaborative communication, preparing for the training flights on the day of the exercise.
