On July 13 local time, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement saying that in the fourth phase of retaliatory strikes against U.S. military targets in the region, the ground forces of the Revolutionary Guard targeted the ground-to-ground missile base of U.S. troops stationed in Kuwait, destroying two launch systems and ammunition storage points of the "HIMARS" High Mobility Artillery Rocket System.
