In the early hours of July 13 local time, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran issued a statement saying that on the evening of the 12th, during an operation to stop two violating vessels, these ships endangered shipping in the Strait of Hormuz by shutting down their equipment and navigating illegally. The United States has once again exposed its "barbaric nature" by attacking the coastal bases of the Iranian armed forces.
