On July 20 local time, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement indicating that in the 23rd wave of operations codenamed "Victory 2," it launched a fierce attack on U.S. forces in the region in three phases.
The statement said that in the first phase, Iran attacked and destroyed the U.S. drone maintenance and repair facilities located at the Bahrain Sakhir Air Base; in the second phase, Iran targeted locations at the Bahrain Salman Port; in the third phase, Iran struck facilities at the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait.
