Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, July 30 (Reporter Chen Xiao, Shadati) - Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei posted on social media on the evening of the 30th, condemning the U.S. attack on a residential area in southern Iran's Qeshm Island early that morning, which resulted in the deaths of the parents and their two-year-old child from a family of five.
Baghaei stated that the attack caused damage to multiple residential buildings, and taxi driver Kaysar Jafari, his wife Zahra Jafari, and their two-year-old son Sina were among the casualties.
Baghaei described such actions as reminiscent of the terrorism perpetrated by the extremist organization "Islamic State." He stated that this move would not bring the attackers any so-called "power and credibility," but would only make the Iranian people more determined and united in defending their country and their rights.
