Iranian military claims to strike locations of US early warning and refueling aircraft deployments

On the afternoon of April 1 local time, the Iranian military issued a statement indicating that in response to the airstrikes carried out by the United States and Israel against Iran, particularly targeting residential areas and non-military objectives, the Iranian military began drone strike operations against multiple targets from early that morning.

The statement mentioned that the targets included the deployment sites of U.S. early warning aircraft and aerial refueling aircraft located at Ben Gurion Airport, as well as missile and drone detection radar systems deployed in the UAE, and electronic warfare facilities used to counter drones.

The statement noted that the Iranian military had previously conducted drone strikes against U.S. bases and military targets in the region, and based on intelligence and satellite imagery assessments, the relevant facilities had been severely damaged, significantly disrupting related combat operations, military aircraft support, and the interception capabilities of missiles and combat drones.

The statement also stated that this round of operations utilized the "Arash-2" drone with a range of approximately 2000 kilometers.
