Iran's Foreign Minister Calls on Saudi Arabia: "It's Time to Expel U.S. Troops"

Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, March 30 - Iranian Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian stated on social media on the evening of the 30th that Iran respects Saudi Arabia and considers it a "brotherly country," and that Iran's military actions are aimed at "hostile aggressors." He said, "It is time to expel the American troops."

Amir-Abdollahian also mentioned in his post that Iran's operational targets are those "hostile aggressors who do not respect Arabs or Iranians and cannot provide any security guarantees, just look at what we have done to their air command system." He included an image showing a severely damaged U.S. military aircraft.

On the 29th, the Iranian Tasnim News Agency cited information from the public relations department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stating that a U.S. E-3 "Sentry" early warning aircraft was "destroyed" during Iran's missile and drone strikes on the Saudi Prince Sultan Air Base, with the strike hitting a critical area near the tail of the aircraft. Tasnim News Agency also released comparative images before and after the attack on the U.S. early warning aircraft that day. The images show structural breakage in the middle to rear section of the aircraft, with the tail having separated from the fuselage.
