Xinhua News Agency, Baghdad, March 1 (Reporter Duan Minfu, Li Jun) An armed organization under the "Iraqi Islamic Resistance Movement" issued a statement on March 1, stating that "to support Iran in resisting the invasion of the United States and Israel, and to defend Iraq's national sovereignty," the organization launched a drone attack on a U.S. military base located in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdish Autonomous Region in northern Iraq, on the same day.

The organization also issued a statement on February 28, claiming that on that day, it launched dozens of drones to carry out 16 attacks on U.S. military bases located in Iraq and other regions of the Middle East.
