Israel claims to be simultaneously striking Lebanon and Iran
On the 2nd local time, the Israel Defense Forces issued a statement saying that they are currently simultaneously striking Lebanon and Iran, targeting senior commanders of Hezbollah and dozens of infrastructures.
The statement said that after missiles were launched from Lebanese territory into Israel, the Israel Defense Forces carried out a large-scale attack on Lebanon overnight. As part of the attack, the Israel Defense Forces targeted senior Hezbollah commanders in the capital Beirut. In addition, the Israeli Air Force and Navy, under the command of military intelligence and the Northern Command, attacked dozens of headquarters across Lebanon, including the headquarters of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Hezbollah located in the Dahieh area of Beirut.
The statement also mentioned that the Israeli Navy attacked locations in the Tyre area of Lebanon used by Hezbollah to store weapons. (CCTV reporters Liang Hui and Zhang Zhuoya)
