Xinhua News Agency, Beirut/Jerusalem, February 21 (Reporters Cao Changhao and Chen Junqing) On the 20th, the Israeli military conducted airstrikes in the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon and the Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp in southwestern Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of 13 people, including 3 Hezbollah commanders, and dozens of injuries.

Sources from Lebanese security agencies told Xinhua reporters that the Israeli military carried out 6 airstrikes in eastern Lebanon that day, targeting Hezbollah positions. Sources from the Lebanese civil defense department confirmed to Xinhua reporters that the Israeli military's strike on a building in eastern Lebanon resulted in at least 11 deaths and 35 injuries, with multiple civil defense and medical rescue teams still conducting search and rescue operations at the scene.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the Israeli military's airstrike on the Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp near the city of Sidon in southwestern Lebanon on the evening of the 20th resulted in 2 deaths and multiple injuries in the Palestinian refugee camp.

The Israel Defense Forces issued a statement on the 20th, stating that the military targeted multiple military sites within Lebanon, including a Hezbollah command center and a command center of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
