Israeli Airstrikes in Southern Lebanon Kill Two People

The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that the airstrike by the Israeli military on the town of Tulin in southern Lebanon caused at least two deaths.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli warplanes conducted three rounds of airstrikes on the town of Deir Amiss in southern Lebanon, and the Israeli military also carried out a large-scale explosion operation in the town of Nagoura in southern Lebanon.

According to reports from Hezbollah's Al-Manar TV, Hezbollah militants shot down an Israeli military drone using surface-to-air missiles in the Tyre area of southern Lebanon that day, and used drones to launch multiple attacks on Israeli military targets in the town of Kantarah in southern Lebanon, in response to Israel's violations of the ceasefire agreement.

Data released by the Lebanese Ministry of Health on the 24th showed that since the resumption of hostilities between Lebanon and Israel on March 2, Israeli attacks in Lebanon have resulted in 2,491 deaths and 7,719 injuries.

At midnight local time on the 17th, a temporary ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel took effect for ten days. However, Israel continued to launch attacks, citing violations of the ceasefire agreement by Hezbollah. On the 23rd, Lebanon and Israel held ambassador-level talks at the White House in the United States, after which U.S. President Trump announced on social media that the ceasefire would be extended for three weeks. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated in a video statement on the evening of the 24th that Israel reserves the "full freedom of action" to respond to threats in Lebanon, including newly emerging threats.
