The Israel Defense Forces issued a statement on the 10th local time, stating that the IDF used over 1,100 tons of explosives that day to destroy the Hezbollah underground tunnel system located beneath the Ali Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon.

The statement noted that the two main tunnels destroyed were over two kilometers long. The IDF discovered dozens of rockets, missiles, and drones inside, as well as a large number of firearms, anti-tank missiles, hundreds of landmines, and other explosives.

The IDF stated that it has now completely destroyed the main tunnel network of Hezbollah in the Ali Taher Ridge and Bofort Ridge areas, which consists of 8 tunnels with a total length of 5.4 kilometers.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Katz issued a joint statement that day, indicating that the IDF has now "completed the organizational work in the security zone in southern Lebanon."
