Israeli Army Claims to Have Destroyed Large Amounts of Hezbollah Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon
On May 1 local time, the Israel Defense Forces issued a statement saying that in the past few weeks, the IDF's 98th Division has carried out military operations in the town of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon, destroying a large number of Hezbollah's infrastructure.
The IDF stated that during the operation, over 900 pieces of Hezbollah infrastructure were destroyed, more than 200 armed personnel were killed, and hundreds of weapons and equipment were discovered. Additionally, the IDF also destroyed a stadium in the town, claiming that explosive devices had previously been found inside the stadium.
Hezbollah has not yet responded to this.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health released the latest data on April 30, indicating that since the escalation of the conflict between Lebanon and Israel on March 2 of this year, IDF attacks have resulted in at least 2,586 deaths and 8,020 injuries on the Lebanese side. (Reporter: Liang Hui, CCTV)
