Xinhua News Agency, Jerusalem, March 15 (Reporters Pang Xinyi and Chen Junqing) According to a report from the Israel Times website on the 15th, the Israel Defense Forces denied claims that the military's air defense interceptors are "severely insufficient" and that stocks are running low.
The report cited an anonymous officer as saying that the Israeli military had planned its military operations against Iran months in advance. The military had prepared enough air defense interceptors in advance and is ready for a "long-term war" with Iran lasting several weeks. The actual number of interceptors used in operations is "less than expected."
The Israel Times previously reported that after the conflict erupted on February 28, Iran launched approximately 300 ballistic missiles at Israel over about two weeks, a number lower than the 500 missiles launched at Israel during the "War of the 12th" in June 2025.
