Kazakhstan to Hold Strategic Command Staff Exercises
According to a report by Reference News Network on August 7, TASS reported on August 3 that the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan announced that the country has begun to deploy military equipment, weapons, and personnel in preparation for the "Resolute Response-2026" strategic command and staff exercise.
The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan stated: "In preparation for and during the 'Resolute Response-2026' strategic command and staff exercise, weapons, military equipment, and personnel will be deployed to the combat training exercise area within Kazakhstan in August and September of this year."
The country's Ministry of Defense pointed out that the troops will be transported using a combination of methods, relying on train convoys, motorized columns, as well as front-line aviation and army aviation for delivery. The exercise will take place at training grounds across Kazakhstan. During the exercise, the military will assess the combat readiness of the armed forces to perform tasks under modern conditions and practice the coordination among the various branches of the military in land, sea, air, and cyberspace.
