From the perspective of global aircraft carrier development, a mature aircraft carrier must possess strong comprehensive combat capabilities, including air superiority, maritime control, early warning, electronic countermeasures, and anti-submarine warfare. Military enthusiasts refer to the core carrier-based aircraft system that supports these capabilities as the "carrier five-piece set."

The "carrier five-piece set" is considered the core of modern aircraft carrier combat power, consisting of stealth carrier-based fighter jets, multi-role carrier-based fighter jets, fixed-wing carrier-based early warning aircraft, fixed-wing electronic warfare aircraft, and anti-submarine helicopters.

The J-15T heavy carrier-based fighter jet, with its large payload capacity and long range, can carry out saturation attacks against enemies and possesses strong strike capabilities against both sea and land targets.

Reporter Sun Xin: This long and slender rod is called the catapult rod, specifically designed for the J-15T aircraft for catapult takeoff. It can directly hook onto the electromagnetic catapult on the carrier deck, instantly accelerating the several-ton J-15T from a stationary position to hundreds of kilometers per hour, propelling the fighter jet off the deck.

J-35 Carrier-Based Fighter Jet

The J-35 carrier-based fighter jet features an integrated design with a single seat, twin engines, and outward-leaning twin vertical tails. It is a new type of stealth carrier-based fighter jet independently developed by our country, primarily tasked with securing air superiority for carrier battle groups and is a symbolic equipment for the Navy's transition from near-sea defense to far-sea defense.

KJ-600 Carrier-Based Fixed-Wing Early Warning Aircraft

The KJ-600 is our country's first carrier-based fixed-wing early warning aircraft, supporting catapult takeoff and capable of performing early warning detection, command guidance, target indication, and combat coordination tasks. It is known as the "Sea and Air Command," providing carrier battle groups with longer early warning times and significantly improving interception efficiency.
