Media: Two Air Force Technicians Suspected of "Engaging in Espionage Activities for Iran"

According to the Israel Times, the two are accused of committing a series of "security-related offenses on behalf of the Iranian intelligence agency." The indictment shows that the two "maintained contact with the Iranian intelligence agency for several months" and carried out "various tasks aimed at obtaining economic benefits." Law enforcement stated that one of them "provided a Iranian agent with military training materials related to fighter jet systems, as well as imagery of military base facilities and areas."
Law enforcement stated that the two claimed their contact with the "Iranian agent" was cut off after they refused a task "involving weapons." However, the two subsequently attempted to re-establish contact.
According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, as of early April, four active-duty soldiers of the Israeli military have been detained by the Israeli Security Agency (Shin Bet) for "suspected espionage activities for Iran."
