Jiang Bin: Conducting military training among students in ordinary higher education institutions and high schools is an important measure to implement the "National Defense Law," "Education Law," and "National Defense Education Law." It is a crucial part of fostering moral integrity and is an important way for young students to cultivate courage and enhance their national defense awareness. This year, the military has dispatched nearly 500,000 certified military training instructors and organized military training tasks for nearly 30 million students in over 20,000 schools nationwide. The military qualities, tenacity, and discipline of young students have been universally improved, receiving positive feedback from society. Currently, the Ministry of Education and the National Defense Mobilization Department of the Central Military Commission are revising and improving the student military training syllabus and optimizing the operational mechanism, including updating training content and enriching the application of intelligent and information-based teaching methods in line with the characteristics of the new era. They are also piloting training in some provinces to continuously promote the high-quality development of student military training.
