Ministry of Defense: "United in Heart and Action · Strong Nation with Me" Hong Kong and Macau Youth Military Camp Activity to be Held in Guangzhou

On the afternoon of September 14, Colonel Jiang Bin, spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense, released information regarding recent military-related issues.

Jiang Bin: In mid to late September, the Guangdong Armed Police Corps will collaborate with the Guangdong Provincial Office for Hong Kong and Macao Affairs and relevant departments of the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions to hold the "Together with One Heart, Strong Nation with Me" activity for Hong Kong and Macao youth in military camps in Guangzhou, inviting over 300 young people from Hong Kong and Macao to immerse themselves in military life. This year marks the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army's Long March. During this military camp activity, a "Iron Horse, Golden Sound on the Path to Strengthening the Military: Together on a New Journey" youth national defense education concert for Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao will also be held, along with a series of activities such as the creation of short videos on "The Long March Spirit in My Eyes" and a relay singing of the theme song "Together with One Heart."

When the youth thrive, the nation thrives; when the youth are strong, the nation is strong. It is hoped that through the military camp activities, Hong Kong and Macao youth can gain insights into spirit, forge their character, and continuously enhance their ambition, backbone, and confidence as Chinese citizens, walking their own path of the Long March and integrating their youthful struggles into the great cause of Hong Kong and Macao development, national strengthening, and national rejuvenation.
