Xinhua News Agency, Kyiv, August 1 (Reporter Li Dongxu) At 3:22 AM local time on August 1, Xinhua reporters heard intense and powerful explosions again in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. Kyiv Mayor Klitschko previously stated that the Russian military was launching a ballistic missile attack on the city of Kyiv.

Klitschko posted on social media that as of around 3 AM, the airstrikes had resulted in 12 injuries in Kyiv, with one person in serious condition. All injured individuals have been hospitalized for treatment.
