Multi-type Weapons Weave a Dense Air Defense "Sky Net" for Precise Strikes Against Incoming "Enemy" Aircraft
Recently, a certain air defense brigade of the 83rd Group Army conducted a multi-factor air defense combat drill, with various firepower units closely coordinating to establish a three-dimensional air defense system, honing their air defense capabilities in realistic confrontations.
At the drill site, several target aircraft simulated "enemy" planes rapidly took off, launching multi-directional, multi-angle, and multi-batch attacks on the air defense positions, continuously changing altitude, speed, and posture. Radar operators immediately began searching for and tracking the enemy aircraft. The commander quickly formulated a combat plan and transmitted it to each vehicle using the information system, while the main battle vehicles prepared for firing based on the data.

The target was successfully repelled, and then the control group informed the launch position that it was exposed. The missile unit immediately withdrew and moved to a reserve area, while the anti-aircraft unit continued to engage the incoming "enemy" aircraft and provided fire cover.

As night fell, several "enemy" aircraft used the cover of darkness to conduct low-altitude assaults on our air defense positions. Various ground air defense weapons complemented each other, sequentially engaging the "enemy" aircraft according to long-range, medium-range, and short-range, as well as high-altitude, medium-altitude, and low-altitude strikes, accurately targeting the incoming threats.

From the 83rd Group Army Brigade, Niu Binqian: We closely align with the patterns of air defense operations in modern warfare, relying on a mixed deployment of various air defense weapons to construct a three-dimensional air defense network that integrates long-range, medium-range, and short-range, as well as high-altitude, medium-altitude, and low-altitude capabilities. This comprehensively tested the precision strike capabilities of multiple types of equipment and the level of joint operations among the troops.
The 83rd Group Army Air Defense Brigade conducted recent multi-faceted air defense exercises in China, successfully countering simulated enemy aircraft with various air defense systems. The drills involved multiple units coordinating to respond to threats, including low-altitude attacks during nighttime. This exercise aimed to enhance the brigade's operational readiness and effectiveness in modern warfare scenarios.
