Multiple Locations in Tel Aviv Hit by Missiles, Many Injured

Xinhua News Agency, Jerusalem, March 24 (Reporters Pang Xinyi and Chen Junqing) According to Israeli media reports, multiple locations in the central Israeli city of Tel Aviv were hit by Iranian missiles on the morning of the 24th, resulting in multiple injuries and damage to several cars and buildings.

Images and videos released by Israeli media show that one of the explosion sites is located on a road in downtown Tel Aviv, where a crater approximately 7 meters in diameter has formed, and the wall of a nearby building facing the explosion site has completely collapsed. One car was overturned, and at least one other car caught fire.

According to Israeli Channel 12, the incoming missiles struck four locations in the morning, injuring six people. The website of the Israel Times quoted local police as saying that a warhead containing 100 kilograms of explosives hit the area, causing "widespread destruction."

Israel's Haaretz quoted the commander of the Tel Aviv civil defense department as saying that the attack caused "severe damage" to three buildings, and an assessment is currently underway to determine whether these buildings are at risk of collapse.

Channel 12 also reported that a draft from the Israeli government indicates plans to extend the "domestic state of emergency" until April 14.

On the same day, air raid sirens were sounded in multiple locations across Israel, including the northern city of Haifa, the central city of Tel Aviv, and the southern city of Dimona, warning of incoming missiles or rockets.
