Navy 83rd Fleet Concludes Visit to Russia

On the morning of June 27 local time

The Navy's 83rd Fleet

concluded a four-day friendly visit to Russia

departing from Vladivostok Port

to continue its long-range comprehensive training and visiting mission

At around 10 a.m.

The Russian side held a farewell ceremony at the dock

with staff from the consulate

local representatives of overseas Chinese

representatives from Chinese-funded institutions and students

and Russian naval officers and soldiers

seeing them off at the dock

During the visit

the fleet organized representatives of officers and soldiers to visit Russian naval vessels

such as the Nakhimov Naval Cadet School and other units

to conduct professional exchanges

and held open ship events

and friendly football matches among other activities

On the evening of June 25

the fleet held a deck reception on the Navy's Qi Jiguang ship

with nearly 200 guests invited, including

representatives from the Russian Navy

consulate staff, and defense attachés

facilitating in-depth communication and exchanges between both sides

creating a lively atmosphere on site

This visit

further promoted the deepening and solidifying of naval cooperation between the two countries

to enhance exchanges among young naval officers and soldiers

broaden cooperation channels

and build a communication platform for young officers and soldiers

to learn from each other face-to-face

and strengthen the bonds of friendship
