The 48th Escort Task Force of the Chinese Navy's Tangshan Ship Visits Seychelles
Xinhua News Agency, Victoria, June 27 (Du Jiangfan, Tan Zhenzhen) On June 26 local time, the 48th Chinese Navy escort task force, the Tangshan ship, arrived at Victoria Port in Seychelles for a 5-day friendly visit.
At around 9 a.m. local time on the 26th, the Navy's Tangshan ship, flying the flags of China and Seychelles, slowly entered Victoria Port. More than 100 people, including representatives from the Seychelles military, teachers and students from Seychelles Independent School, staff from the Chinese Embassy in Seychelles, representatives from Chinese-funded institutions, and overseas Chinese, welcomed them at the dock.
During the visit, the task force will conduct professional exchanges, a deck reception, and other activities, and will send a team to participate in the parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of Seychelles' independence.
