Navy "Silk Road Ark" Hospital Ship Conducts Realistic Medical Training Exercises in a Certain Area of the South China Sea

Recently, the Navy's hospital ship "Silk Road Ark" set sail for a certain area in the South China Sea to conduct realistic maritime medical training exercises. This training focused on subjects such as boat transfer, emergency response, and mass casualty treatment, honing the capability for maritime medical support in distant seas.

Upon reaching the designated sea area, the hospital ship immediately transitioned to combat deployment. The deck support personnel quickly completed operations such as boat lowering and material loading, flexibly receiving "casualties" through boat transfer.

The forward team, equipped with medical supplies, rushed to the scene and quickly initiated first aid for typical combat injuries such as burns, fractures, and chest trauma. The triage team rapidly diverted patients amidst the ship's swaying, while the surgical team simultaneously completed preoperative preparations, and the intensive care team conducted shock treatment. Each position operated efficiently and in an orderly manner.

Through high-intensity realistic training, a complete link from rescue to evacuation for maritime rescue was established, achieving a seamless connection throughout the entire process of casualty treatment, and comprehensively testing the maritime emergency comprehensive treatment capability, accumulating valuable experience for carrying out maritime medical support tasks in distant seas.

In the next step, the "Silk Road Ark" will continue to deepen the integration of combat and training, regularly conduct realistic medical exercises in complex maritime areas, and forge a reliable maritime medical support force.
