Recently, the newly commissioned Type 055 destroyers, the 9th ship Dongguan and the 10th ship Anqing, have successively gone to a certain sea area in the East China Sea to conduct maritime combat training.

In this combat training, the Dongguan not only had to complete individual ship training tasks such as navigation in narrow waterways and damage control, but also had to cooperate with other ships in the formation to carry out joint operations such as anti-surface attacks, maritime resupply, and multi-domain coordinated strikes. This is also the first maritime combat training for the Dongguan since its commissioning. According to the crew of the Dongguan, with the enhancement of weaponry and equipment performance, the Dongguan's hardware and software are significantly different from previous ships, making it more "sharp-eyed and sharp-eared."

In addition to the Dongguan, the newly commissioned Anqing is also deployed in the Eastern Theater Navy. Recently, the Anqing, along with various types of ships, formed a fleet to head to a certain sea area, focusing on specialized training in over a dozen tasks such as joint maritime search and rescue, navigation resupply, and damage control.
