Xinhua News Agency, Doha, May 25 (Reporter Wang Qiang) A Qatari Foreign Ministry official told Xinhua on the 25th that a senior Iranian delegation is in Doha, the capital of Qatar, for talks. The delegation includes the Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Ghalibaf, and the Foreign Minister, Araqchi. The talks aim to discuss the possibility of reaching an agreement between the U.S. and Iran to end the war.

The official, who wished to remain anonymous, stated that the discussions will focus on issues including the Strait of Hormuz, Iran's stockpile of highly enriched uranium, and Iran's frozen assets abroad. The Governor of the Central Bank of Iran is responsible for discussing financial matters that may be involved in the final agreement.
