Relay and Soar! The War Eagles Hunt Between Sea and Sky

Recently, at an airport in East China

the naval aviation unit of the Eastern Theater Command

completed a long-duration flight training

and the officers and soldiers immediately analyzed the training data to assess gains and losses

and proposed improvement measures based on identified shortcomings.

The officers and soldiers expressed

that inheriting the spirit of the Long March

means adhering to a pragmatic approach and ensuring training aligns with combat

to promptly review and summarize

to ensure training yields results and capabilities are enhanced.

This year marks the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army.

The unit has launched the "Inherit the Spirit of the Long March, Strive to be a Vanguard of a Strong Army" activity.

The officers and soldiers consciously set the classroom at their posts

and practice the spirit of the Long March during training.

"Take off!"

As the command was issued

the warplanes took off in succession

heading towards the target sea and airspace.

Upon reaching the mission airspace

the officers and soldiers quickly conducted searches

between sea and sky

an invisible contest quietly unfolded.

In the vast sky

the "enemy" aircraft maneuvered covertly

the officers and soldiers closely monitored data flows

quickly assessed target trajectories

and verified characteristic signals

successfully locking onto the target.

During the debriefing after training

the officers and soldiers delved into existing problems

and carefully formulated improvement plans.

In the next training session

above the clouds, multi-role personnel closely coordinated

networking, detecting targets, identifying situations…

various positions promptly shared target information

the formation of warplanes quickly approached under guidance

and successfully eliminated the "enemy" aircraft.

They also closely monitor real combat needs

regularly conducting coordinated training with neighboring units

to enhance the unit's ability to quickly deploy and operate in complex environments.

Embracing the morning sun, adorned with starlight, breaking through the vast sky

the flight paths etched in the horizon, the original intention as solid as a rock

the officers and soldiers of the unit consciously practice the spirit of the Long March at their posts

striving forward on the new era's journey to strengthen the army.
