Russia claims control of certain settlements, Ukraine claims to strike Russian energy facilities.
On the 24th, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian army has taken control of the Ivolzhanskoye settlement in the Sumy region. Various units of the Russian army have struck Ukrainian forces in multiple locations in the directions of Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia. The Russian army also targeted the Ukrainian special operations forces' unmanned systems center, as well as Ukrainian fuel energy and transportation infrastructure.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated on the 24th that in the early hours of the day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a natural gas refinery and a helium plant in Russia's Orenburg region. The Ukrainian side claimed that the operation took place more than 1200 kilometers from the front line, and both plants have caught fire, with damage assessments currently underway. Additionally, the Ukrainian forces also targeted a drone warehouse in Russia's Belgorod region.
