Russia claims to have shot down over 100 Ukrainian drones
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the 16th that from 23:00 Moscow time on the 15th to 08:00 on the 16th, the Russian air defense system intercepted and destroyed 145 Ukrainian drones, with 53 of them in the Moscow region, including 46 heading towards the city of Moscow. Moscow Mayor Sobyanin stated on social media on the morning of the 16th that over the past two days, Russian air defense forces have destroyed approximately 250 Ukrainian drones along the defense line near Moscow.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported today that from 18:00 on the 15th to the morning of the 16th, Russia launched 211 drones towards Ukraine, many of which were aimed at the Kyiv region. As of 11:00 on the 16th, the Ukrainian military had shot down or suppressed 194 drones through electronic warfare.
