The Russian military also struck a cargo ship transporting military supplies for the Ukrainian forces, a road-rail bridge providing logistical support to the Ukrainian military, and a substation in Kyiv Oblast. In the past 24 hours, the Russian military has also taken control of three settlements in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions.
On the 2nd, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a situation report as of 8 a.m. that day, stating that 207 combat incidents occurred in the frontline areas over the past day, with the Ukrainian Air Force, missile troops, and artillery forces striking important targets such as Russian drone control points and troop concentration areas.
