Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, May 1 - According to a report from the Iranian Tasnim News Agency early on May 1, the air defense system in some districts of the Iranian capital Tehran was activated on the evening of April 30 to intercept multiple small drones and reconnaissance drones. Tehran has now returned to calm.
The report stated that around 23:20 on the 30th, sounds of the air defense system intercepting were heard in some districts of Tehran, followed by interception sounds in several areas including the western, eastern, central, and southern parts of Tehran. After about 20 minutes, the sounds of the air defense system ceased.
