Spain’s Sener revealed its next-generation stealth multipurpose autonomous aerial platform, the SRC 100 Razor, at the World Defense Show in Riyadh.

The unveiling took place during World Defense Show, where Sener introduced the platform as part of its expanding portfolio of autonomous systems and remote carriers. The company said the SRC 100 Razor is manufactured entirely in Spain and weighs approximately 150 kilograms.

According to Sener, the SRC 100 Razor is designed as a high-performance recoverable aerial vehicle capable of fully autonomous operation, including in environments where satellite navigation signals are denied. The company stated that the platform uses secure communications to maintain connectivity in demanding operational conditions while retaining the ability to execute missions autonomously.

Sener said the Razor platform features a low-observability design and can be employed both as an advanced aerial target and as an operational system for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions, as well as precision operations. The company described the system as suitable for missions requiring reduced detectability and flexible deployment options.

The platform is designed for mass deployment and incorporates a parachute recovery system, allowing it to be reused after missions. Sener said this configuration supports cost-controlled use in high-risk operations and aligns with attritable operational concepts, where systems may be deployed in scenarios with a high probability of loss.

SRC 100 Razor multipurpose autonomous aerial platform

Spain’s Defense Minister Margarita Robles visited Sener’s stand during the exhibition, where the SRC 100 Razor was presented as part of the company’s defense and aerospace portfolio.

The launch of the SRC 100 Razor is the first system under Sener’s SIROCO project, the company said. It follows Sener’s recent acquisition of SCR, Sistemas de Control Remoto, which expanded the group’s capabilities in autonomous systems, target drones, and unmanned platforms. Sener said the integration accelerated consolidation of its autonomous systems portfolio and improved its ability to scale production.

Sener also outlined ongoing expansion of its industrial infrastructure. The company said refurbishment and expansion at its Arganda del Rey site in Madrid, combined with new facilities under construction in Zamudio, Bizkaia, will increase space and defense-dedicated facilities to more than 40,000 square meters. The sites are expected to include clean rooms, test benches, and advanced production lines.

Rafael Orbe, Sener’s defense general manager, said: “The SRC 100 Razor has been designed to deliver an immediate and flexible solution, capable of adapting to requirements that are evolving at great speed. Sener reaffirms its commitment to modern defence, aligned with the strategic challenges of the coming decades.”
