In spring, reporters visited several missile brigades of the Rocket Force and found a vibrant scene of intensive basic training everywhere. It is reported that since the beginning of this year, the Rocket Force has taken multiple measures to strengthen basic training subjects, continuously solidifying the foundation of combat capability construction.

To cultivate more "Guo Xingfu" of the new era and promote the steady improvement of the unit's training level. To address the contradictions of having many specialized subjects, few excellent instructors, and high training standards, the Rocket Force has broken the boundaries of established units, effectively utilizing various resources, and systematically constructed a talent pool for teaching and training composed of technical backbones, excellent staff officers, examiners, "Four Proficiencies" instructors, and training supervisors, covering all models, specialties, and elements; regularly conducting training for teaching and training personnel, enhancing lesson preparation and teaching management capabilities by specialty and level, strictly implementing periodic certification and updating elimination systems, and cultivating a large number of high-quality, professional new "gold medal instructors" and "elite trainers"; inviting military and local experts, as well as outstanding training backbones from brother military branches, to provide in-depth assistance and guidance in training fields, maximizing coverage and benefits.

Innovating training models and methods to promote the transformation and upgrading of military training. At a professional training assessment site of a certain brigade of the Rocket Force, officers and soldiers explained the principles and structures of weaponry and equipment, quickly responding to unexpected questions posed by examiners. This is a microcosm of the Rocket Force's tailored training based on local conditions and personnel. The Rocket Force categorizes six types of typical units and scientifically determines training objectives, content, standards, and groupings based on the professional categories, age structure, and quality foundation of the trainees, widely adopting methods such as coordinated resource training, tiered and classified training, concentrated problem-solving training, leadership-led in-depth training, and ongoing assessments to promote training; exploring innovative training methods such as "launching from a map" for technical practice, combined leap training for tactics, front and back coordination for collaboration, as well as large professional one-stop training and small professional shuttle training, effectively enhancing the level of practical training for the troops.

Strengthening the "leading goose" in training, establishing a clear orientation towards practical training. At the military capability qualification assessment site for battalion commanders of a certain unit of the Rocket Force, the content was presented in a continuous manner covering over ten items, including professional principles, process explanations, skill applications, and emergency handling, allowing a group of pre-appointed battalion commanders to undergo comprehensive capability refinement and quality assessment. In various military camps of the Rocket Force, activities such as military capability qualification assessments for brigade and battalion commanders and professional level evaluations for launch platform leaders are widely organized, ensuring the "four implementations" of personnel, time, content, and effectiveness, establishing a top-down orientation for training according to standards and strict training management.

"Ignition!" With the command given, the missile operator of a certain brigade of the Rocket Force quickly raised the missile, completing the continuous fire assault training task. From the deep mountains of the south to the forest seas of the north, from the snowy plateaus to the desert Gobi, the Rocket Force has significantly improved the quality and effectiveness of basic training, strongly supporting the "Great Power's Long Sword" to soar and accelerating the construction of the troops' combat capability.
