On April 4, local time, a CCTV reporter learned that the United States will deploy nearly its entire stock of Extended Range Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles (JASSM-ER) in its upcoming military operations against Iran. These long-range stealth cruise missiles will be drawn from reserves originally designated for other regions.

According to an informed source, the order to draw these missiles from the stockpile in the Pacific region was issued at the end of March. The source also stated that similar missiles located at other U.S. facilities (including those in the continental U.S.) will also be transported to bases under the U.S. Central Command or to RAF Fairford in the UK.
