The U.S. military will implement a maritime blockade against Iran starting at 8 PM GMT on the 14th.

On July 13 local time, the Joint Maritime Information Center, overseen by the U.S. Navy, stated that the U.S. military will begin enforcing a maritime blockade on all Iranian ports and coastal areas at 20:00 GMT on July 14 (04:00 Beijing time on July 15). The blockade applies to all vessels, regardless of the flag they fly. The blockade encompasses the entire coastline of Iran, including but not limited to Iranian ports and oil terminals. The blockade will not impede the passage of neutral vessels transiting through the Strait of Hormuz to non-Iranian destinations or departing from non-Iranian destinations. Humanitarian cargo transport will be allowed, but it must be subject to inspection.

The U.S. Central Command issues navigation advisories for the maritime blockade

Later that day, U.S. Central Command released a statement confirming that the U.S. military will resume the blockade of maritime traffic in and out of Iranian ports at 16:00 Eastern Time on July 14 (04:00 Beijing time on July 15).

U.S. Central Command advised all mariners to closely monitor "navigational notices" broadcasts while navigating in the waters near the Gulf of Oman and the Strait of Hormuz, and to maintain communication with U.S. Navy forces via bridge-to-bridge communication channel 16. (CCTV reporter Cao Jian)
