Ukraine reports attacks on 51 locations within its territory
Xinhua News Agency, Kyiv, July 2 (Reporter Li Dongxu) - The Ukrainian Air Force stated on the 2nd that from the night of the 1st to the early morning of the 2nd, the Russian military launched a large-scale missile and drone attack, with a total of 51 locations in Ukraine being hit. Ukrainian President Zelensky said that the airstrikes have resulted in 13 deaths and over 90 injuries.
The Ukrainian Air Force said on social media that the Russian military launched attacks simultaneously from different directions using various types of weapons, firing a total of 74 missiles, including 4 "Zircon" hypersonic missiles. The Russian military also launched 496 drones. As of 9 a.m. local time on the 2nd, Russian missiles and drones had struck 33 locations in Ukraine, with another 18 locations hit by missile or drone debris.
Zelensky stated on social media on the 2nd that the Russian military airstrikes have caused 13 deaths and over 90 injuries.
