The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on August 21 that Russia launched a drone attack in the early hours of that day, resulting in damage to the infrastructure of the Tabaki International Border Crossing on the Ukraine-Moldova border.

The attack caused damage to the border crossing buildings and supporting structures, and a fire broke out on site, which the Ukrainian emergency services promptly extinguished. Due to the damage to the facilities, the border crossing has fully suspended the passage of people and vehicles.

Currently, the Ukrainian side has informed Moldova of the situation, and stranded vehicles have been redirected to other nearby border crossings. The border guard department reminds cross-border travelers to pay attention to the border crossing suspension information before traveling and to plan alternative routes in advance.

There has been no response from the Russian side regarding this matter. (Reporter: Dong Wei, CCTV)
