On the 6th local time, the military governor of Odesa Oblast, Ukraine, Kiper, reported that a civilian bulk carrier flying the flag of Guinea-Bissau and loaded with Ukrainian wheat was attacked by Russian forces in the Black Sea. The attack resulted in damage to the hull, a fire on board, and caused 1 death and 3 injuries.

After the incident, all crew members involved have been evacuated to shore, and the injured are receiving medical treatment.
